landscape plan using native species, and incorporating renewable energy
sources and environmentally responsible materials, practices, and
technologies.
We meet with clients who are interested in identifying ways to improve
the energy efficiency and “greenness” of their existing homes or
commercial buildings without undergoing major renovation. Starting with
an Energy Audit, we identify, quantify, and prioritize green upgrades
that are cost effective and have the biggest impact on energy
consumption, indoor comfort and health, and environmental
responsibility for each dollar spent.

INCENTIVES, REBATES, AND LOAN PROGRAMS
Identify available tax credits, local incentives, and loan programs to
help offset costs of your energy efficiency upgrades.

CERTIFICATION
Advise on the requirements and advantages of obtaining green building
permits and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
certification, granted by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC—www.USGBC.org). We identify the
right program for your project based on an extensive analysis of the
project goals.

Through our construction division we can take an existing building,
determine the best overall improvements in energy efficiency, and
incorporate them into your renovation project. We build the

and we do it while protecting the environment and using environmentally
responsible products and technologies.

We apply the same priniciples of energy efficiency
and environmentally sound practices to commercial, industrial, and
government buildings. From a small office or retail building to a
large office building, hotel or government facility, we can build or
renovate using all the latests materials, techniques, and technologies
to provide you a building that is efficient, healthy, and
environmentally sound.
GREEN DEVELOPMENT
We can take difficult to design infill sites and brownfield sites and
create conservation oriented developments. River Trail Properties
can either consult on an existing parcel, participate in a Joint
Venture, or purchase, design and build on independent parcels. Building
truly green communities -- “building green from the ground up” -- is
